LinkedIn Series: #12
March 2025: Day 12 of treating LinkedIn like a blog. :)
Last week was incredible. I was on a CodeTV episode of Jason Lengstorf's Web Dev Challenge (in SLC during Kent C. Dodds' Epic Web Conference) ...and it is an experience I will never forget.
The morning prior was rough, mentally. I was a pile of nerves thanks to everyone's favorite friend, imposter syndrome. But a wise person once said, "if you are in the room you belong in the room." And while I'm not 100% there yet, I am so grateful to Jason and his crew for even allowing me access to "the room."
My teammate, Eve Porcello, is one of the funniest and kindest humans that I had the pleasure of hanging out with all day at the gorgeous Squatters Pub Brewery. Even when my brain was fuzzy and my self-esteem was dwindling, she knew how to pump me up. And when it was our turn to present, her stage presence had me so enthralled that I forgot I was supposed to "volunteer" to test our Mux video player. haha!
Thank you to Johnny J Jones and his film crew for their patience (primarily with my bangs...lol) and kindness all day!
It was great hanging out with and/or meeting Braydon Coyer, Devyn Coyer, Michael Chan, and Chance Strickland!!
