LinkedIn Series: #11

March 2025: Day eleven of treating LinkedIn like a blog. :)

I'm old enough to know how it goes when you make new friends that are part of your "new world."
Like when I played roller derby. Does everyone want to hear about how exciting "shuttle runs" are on skates because you figured out this really cool knee spin/slide move that actually cuts your time in half when you are jumping back up to hit the next line?
Ya, not really. Oh man, it felt so cool, though. lol

So here we are, deep-diving into the tech community, amazing things are happening, and I feel like my "outside-of-tech" friends and fam are just rolling their eyes when I start yapping. I love them to death! But I know it's like a foreign language.
Just yesterday a wonderful friend of mine asked me what's new and I was like "Uhhh...all my life updates are tech-related. I can tell you in person when we hang out!"
(It's so much easier to explain in person, ya know? Or at least on a call.)

All of this to say that next week I get to be on Web Dev Challenge and I built this hilarious little...detail. Which started this brain spiral you are currently swirling in. 🤣
I am super proud of my Tube Feed App because it does actually help a very specific community. But I also love making people laugh - and that translates easily across friend circles. So I am hoping you all enjoy this episode. ❤️

I am really happy to have discovered this part of myself in tech. And I hope that next week, while on camera, there are tears streaming from all the laughter and fun (between all of the honest frustrations of course). 😆
