Hi! I'm Roxy. I have a background in math education, library and information science, web development, as well as content creation. I am most proud of my Tube Feed Tracker web app that is used by a niche part of the medical community around the world daily. I've spoken at conferences, appeared on podcasts, and was a guest on season 2 of CodeTV's Web Dev Challenge. I love learning, teaching, and having fun in tech. :)
March 2025: Day ten of treating LinkedIn like ye olde blog. 😁
The halfway mark of the DSD cohort came and went and my team ended up having to restructure and fill in some big gaps. I worked on the Figma design all weekend and am excited to start the fun styling once we continue our work on the frontend.
I've learned so much about how in depth the planning process is! Research, wireframes, Figma design, team meetings, docs, and diving into React - which I am still learning - it has been an eye opening and educational experience so far. Even if we did get scolded a tad on our lack of progress... Just another lesson learned! 😅 (And I believe we are almost caught up!)
